Prommute

Post-credit scene #2

For a change, I chose not to plug in my Airpods on my commute today. I notice that the little kid sitting next to me was sobbing away. His dad was trying to console him, with some philosophical advice on life – “I have also been in situations where I could not get what I wanted. I would cry about it but that did not change anything. So instead, I decided to focus on what I could control”. Wow, that was powerful! I needed to hear that. Of course, it had no effect on the kid whatsoever, who kept crying…

Eavesdropping is an underrated form of entertainment not available on the car stereo!

Nice post ๐Ÿ™‚ The daily commute is certainly a universally shared experience…and there is just something about experiencing it while listening to your own soundtrack ๐Ÿ™‚ Keep writing…hope all is well.
